The Ones That Stay
Not every encounter leaves a mark. Some pass through us like weather – present for a moment, then gone. But some stay. They settle somewhere deep and do not leave.
This series is a collection of those encounters. People and moments that touched me in some way – not always loudly, not always obviously, but enough to remain. Faces that stayed with me long after the moment had passed.
I don’t always know why certain encounters hold on and others fade. But I have learned to trust that feeling – the one that tells you: this one matters. This one stays.
These paintings are my way of honoring that.
